The R&D work carried out by the Tecnoseta team has made it possible to recover know-how and update production techniques and technologies in the silk industry, bringing innovation to the silk thread production system.
The project Silk 4.0funded by the ROP ERDF 2014-2020 of the Lazio Region via the announcement Pre-SeedThe aim is to systemise the know-how recovered in sericulture and to organise the process of developing and building the Tecnoseta machinery line specifically for silk thread production.
Project actions include:
- the engineering process for re-reeling and vacuum maceration machines;
- testing sessions and tests to assess the electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility of electrical and electronic systems, as well as the mechanical component of re-reeling and vacuum maceration machinery;
- the increase of equipment for the enhancement of the company's operational plan, specifically in the R&D sector.
